January’s wicked search terms

by James Carson
idox word cloud

The word cloud above illustrates the breadth of subjects Idox member organisations searched our database for during January 2014. The larger the word, the more often that term has been searched for, either by the same organisation, or by a range of different searchers. It’s worth noting that a similar word cloud for last month, or for next month, would be likely to produce a very different set of results, such is the wealth of information contained in our database and the variety of searches made by our members.  And, just in case you’re wondering, the prominence of “wicked” has nothing to do with moral judgements; it’s a term used in social planning to denote problems that are resistent to resolution.
